Update (9/8/2013): No more suspensions (knock on wood), so the “accident” theory seems to be the case. I am very thankful for that. Sure would make everyone’s life a whole lot easier and save so much time if Google would just let people know what is going on.
Last week my my Google+ business page was suspended for the cover image violating the TOS/TOU. At least, I think that is the reason, Google does not tell you the exact reason why. You can get the full details in my post Google+ Tips: My Google Business Page Was Suspended.
I posted to the Google+ help group and finally got a response from a volunteer that suggested that perhaps it was a fluke that my page was suspended and it might have been by accident and that the cover image may have just changed to the default Google image during the process and my cover image had nothing to do with the suspension. He looked at my cover image and didn’t see anything that he thought should be a violation. He suggested putting the cover image back and seeing if it gets suspended again.
So, that is what I did. Now, we wait. I’ll keep you posted.
